About Janet Marlow
Janet Marlow is internationally known as a composer, researcher, and author for her contributions to the understanding of animal hearing and how sound affects their behavior.
Her research on behalf of animals has been featured on Animal Planet, CNN, Good Morning America, The Today Show and The Wall Street Journal.
For over two decades, Janet Marlow’s passion for the understanding of the effect of sound on animal behavior has established her leadership in this new field.
Her product innovations and media talks bring awareness to audiences into the complex world of animals.
In 1997, Janet Marlow developed modified frequency and decibel music, the invention of species-specific music which results in calming behavior for dogs, cats, horses, and birds.
In 2009, she founded Pet Acoustics, Inc. Today, Pet Acoustics’ award- winning products have helped thousands of pets and pet parents, veterinarians, and shelters worldwide to solve stress-induced behaviors.
